Public Safety - Reimbursement for Costs of Prosecuting State Prisoners

Synopsis:

Requiring the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services to reimburse a State's Attorney's office for the costs of prosecuting State prisoners for crimes committed while the prisoners are incarcerated in facilities of the Department; requiring the Department to establish application procedures; authorizing a State's Attorney's office to apply for reimbursement under the Act for prosecuting prisoners for crimes committed while they were in prison; etc.
