Synopsis:

Increasing the maximum amount of credits that the Department of Business and Economic Development may approve for a calendar year for one component of the Maryland Research and Development Tax Credit if the maximum amount under the other component exceeds the total credits applied for under the second component; and applying the Act to tax years after 1999.
