Crimes - Presence of a Child - Penalties

Synopsis:

Establishing penalties for the commission of specified violent crimes by a person within the sight or sound of the person's biological child or stepchild or within the sight or sound of the victim's biological child or stepchild; and establishing that a sentence imposed under the Act may be separate from and consecutive to a sentence for any offense based on the act or acts establishing the violation of the Act.
