Synopsis:

Requiring the installation of carbon monoxide detectors in specified dwellings that are to be constructed; establishing specified minimum technical standards for the detectors; requiring the detectors to be installed and maintained in accordance with specified standards; establishing requirements for landlords and tenants for the repair or replacement of the detectors; providing for the enforcement of the Act; establishing penalties for violations of the Act; etc.
