Entitled:
Property Tax - Surviving Spouse of Active Military Who Died in Line of Duty

Synopsis:

Providing an exemption from property tax under specified circumstances for a dwelling house owned by a surviving spouse of an individual who died in line of duty, as defined; repealing authority for a county or municipal corporation to grant a property tax credit for a dwelling owned by a surviving spouse of an individual who died in line of duty; and applying the Act to tax years beginning after June 30, 2001.
