Emergency Treatment for Survivors of Rape

Synopsis:

Requiring a hospital or other health care facility that provides emergency care to a rape survivor to provide the rape survivor with oral and written information about medically appropriate emergency contraception and inform a rape survivor of her option to receive emergency contraception; requiring a hospital or other health care facility that provides emergency care to a rape survivor to provide the rape survivor with medically appropriate emergency contraception if requested or to refer the rape survivor elsewhere; etc.
