Maryland Small Business Development Financing Authority

Synopsis:

Establishing that one purpose of the Maryland Small Business Development Financing Authority (MSBDFA) is to assist individuals that do not meet the credit criteria of banks and are unable to obtain adequate business financing on reasonable terms; establishing that an applicant for MSBDFA financial assistance that lacks sufficient liquidity or assets to obtain business financing from a bank qualifies as lacking financial capacity; and increasing the maximum amount of an MSBDFA loan that may be guaranteed using the Guaranty Fund.
