Pharmacy Errors

Synopsis:

Requiring a pharmacy for which a pharmacy permit has been issued to immediately report, after discovery, to the consumer, the consumer's prescribing health care provider, and the Board of Pharmacy, any error the pharmacy makes in compounding, dispensing, or labeling a prescription; providing sanctions for a failure to make a report; requiring the Board to adopt regulations by December 1, 2001; and requiring the Board to make an annual report to specified committees of the General Assembly.
