Tax Credits for Electricity Purchased from Poultry Litter Electricity Generating Facilities

Synopsis:

Providing State tax credits for persons who purchase electricity under a qualified electricity contract from a qualified poultry litter electricity generating facility; requiring the facility to repay the credits to the State in a specified manner; providing a lien on the facility to secure the repayment obligation; providing Public Service Commission approval of facilities with designated maximum generating capacity, subject to a maximum generating capacity for all approved facilities; etc.
