Synopsis:

Requiring the Health Services Cost Review Commission to conduct a study of uncompensated care provided by emergency department physicians in emergency departments at hospitals in the State and report results of the study to the House Economic Matters Committee and Senate Finance Committee of the General Assembly on or before January 1, 2002.
