Synopsis:

Requiring, instead of authorizing, an insurer to provide written notice to specified third party claimants of payment of $2,000 or more if a third party liability claim is made to the claimant's attorney by check, draft, or other means; and altering the time period within which the notice must be mailed to a third party claimant.
