Nursing Home Residents - Increase in Personal Needs Allowance

Synopsis:

Specifying the amount of the personal needs allowance for a nursing home resident who is a recipient of medical assistance; providing for an annual cost of living increase in the personal needs allowance; requiring that the personal needs allowance be deducted before computing eligible income for medical assistance; and requiring the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene to adopt specified regulations.
