Maryland Catastrophic Pharmaceutical Expense Program

Synopsis:

Establishing the Maryland Catastrophic Pharmaceutical Expense Program; providing for eligibility requirements; exempting specified expenditures on prescription drugs; requiring the Department to provide written notification to ineligible individuals; providing for the coverage of specified medications; requiring the Department to consult with agencies when administering the Program; requiring the Department to implement regulations; requiring the Department to produce a consumer guide on prescription drug issues; etc.
