Income Tax - Subtraction Modification for Licensed Practical Nurses Returning to Nursing

Synopsis:

Allowing a subtraction modification under the Maryland income tax for the first $4,000 in compensation received by an individual for employment in the State as a licensed practical nurse in a hospital or related institution when the individual returns to the nursing profession after an absence of at least 3 years, as specified; applying the Act to tax years after 2000; etc.
