Nursing Home Residents - Prescription Drugs - Choice of Pharmacy

Synopsis:

Providing that nursing home residents may use pharmacies of their choice; requiring a nursing home to ensure that a resident has an alternate pharmacy available for emergency prescription service if the pharmacy of the resident's choice does not dispense prescriptions 24 hours a day and 7 days a week; and abrogating the Act if any provision of the Act is in conflict with federal law or regulation or would impair the ability of the State to receive federal funds.
