WIC Food Vendor Sanctions - Mitigating Provisions

Synopsis:

Providing for the review of sanctions imposed by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene for trafficking violations charged against food vendors participating in the Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants, and Children under specified conditions; allowing revocation of sanctions; authorizing participation in the Program; requiring submission of trafficking prevention policies to the Department; providing for retroactive application; establishing consistency with federal law and regulations; etc.
