Election Law - Qualification of Voters - Proof of Identity

Synopsis:

Requiring an election judge to qualify a voter by requesting the voter to present a specified form of identification, including a driver's license or an employee identification card; permitting a voter, who is unable to present a specified form of identification, to vote after signing a statement that the voter is the named voter whom the voter claims to be; and prohibiting a person from voting or attempting to vote under a false form of identification, subject to specified fine or imprisonment penalties.
