Medical Records - Maintenance and Destruction - Confidentiality

Synopsis:

Requiring the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene to adopt specified regulations for the destruction of medical records; requiring the Secretary to consult with specified entities before adopting the regulations; specifying what is to be included in the regulations; and providing for administrative fines for a violation of the Act, applicable to specified health care facilities and individuals.
