Income Tax Credit - Energy-Efficient Homes

Synopsis:

Allowing a credit against the State income tax for an individual who purchases a certified energy-efficient new home; providing for calculation of the amount of the credit; providing for the carryover of unused credit; providing for the issuance of credit eligibility certifications; limiting the annual aggregate number of eligibility certificates; and requiring the Maryland Energy Administration to adopt regulations.
