Public Facilities - Refusal of Services - Prohibition

Synopsis:

Prohibiting the owners or operators of a bar, hotel, motel, restaurant, or tavern from refusing to serve an individual on the basis of the individual's mode of personal transportation, hairstyle, or specified style of dress; providing that the Act does not prohibit the owners or operators from refusing to serve an individual on the basis of the individual's clothing under specified circumstances; making owners or operators who violate the Act liable in a civil action to specified monetary penalties; etc.
