Synopsis:

Repealing provisions authorizing the Commissioner of Labor and Industry to designate special elevator inspectors; requiring specified elevator inspections to be done by a State inspector; establishing the Elevator Safety Review Board in the Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation; providing for the composition, appointment, terms, and compensation of Board members; establishing powers and duties of the Board; requiring persons to be licensed by the Board as elevator mechanics or elevator contractors; etc.
