Synopsis:

Requiring a police officer to arrange for the removal and impoundment of the vehicle of a person under arrest for specified drunk and drugged driving offenses under specified circumstances; providing for the period of impoundment; authorizing the release of an impounded vehicle under specified conditions; authorizing the use of specified persons, equipment, and facilities for impounding vehicles; and authorizing a law enforcement agency to charge a reasonable fee and to retain custody of an impounded vehicle until the fee is paid.
