Synopsis:

Requiring specified plans for mentoring programs for teachers in the public schools to require a specified timing and frequency of meetings between teachers and mentors; requiring the total grants distributed for any fiscal year to total a specified amount; and providing for an additional grant to assist a county board with the hiring of retired educators as mentors.
