Synopsis:

Requiring the establishment of at least four regional offices of the Office of Administrative Hearings; eliminating the authority of the Chief Administrative Law Judge to establish qualifications for and to appoint, remove, suspend, and demote administrative law judges; authorizing the Governor to appoint, remove, suspend, and demote administrative law judges under specified circumstances; providing for a salary and requiring specified appointment qualifications for an administrative law judge; etc.
