Vehicle Laws - Drunk and Drugged Driving - Notice of Repeat Violations

Synopsis:

Requiring a clerk of the court in which a person is convicted of a second or subsequent violation of specified drunk or drugged driving offenses to cause to be published a notice of conviction in a specified publication under specified circumstances; providing for the required elements for the notice of conviction; requiring the court to assess a $35 fee to cover the cost of publication; providing that the fee is in addition to any other fine imposed by a court; defining a term; etc.
