Facilities or Schools for Individuals with Mental Disorders - Video Surveillance

Synopsis:

Requiring specified facilities that provide treatment of residents or instruction of students with mental disorders to use video surveillance cameras to monitor the activities of specified individuals and the staff of the facility; requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to develop specified regulations; requiring a facility to inform specified individuals and to require specified permission before a resident may be admitted to the facility; providing that specified videotapes are admissible in court; etc.
