Synopsis:

Implementing the

Constitutional amendment
expanding the authority of District Court commissioners to include the issuance of interim orders for protection pending hearings on domestic violence and peace order petitions; making it a crime subject to specified penalties to knowingly provide false information on a specified petition; making the Act subject to a specified contingency; etc.
