Environment - Underground Oil and Gas Storage Tanks - Testing and Inspection

Synopsis:

Requiring owners of an underground oil or gas storage tank located within 300 yards of the Chesapeake Bay or its tributaries to regularly test or inspect the tank for leaks; requiring owners of such tanks to maintain records of regular testing or inspection; requiring owners to contact the Maryland Department of the Environment if a leak is detected; requiring the Department to adopt specified regulations relating to the methods of testing or inspecting tanks; and generally relating to underground oil and gas storage tanks.
