Family Law - Paternity Proceedings - Statute of Limitations for Challenging Paternity Orders

Synopsis:

Prohibiting the court in a paternity proceeding from ordering an individual to submit to a blood or genetic test if the motion for the test is filed more than 3 years after a declaration of paternity is entered; requiring a motion or petition to modify or set aside a declaration of paternity to be filed within 3 years after the declaration is entered; and providing for the application of the Act.
