Drunk and Drugged Driving - Criminal Penalties, Driving Restrictions, and Tests For Alcohol, Drugs, or Controlled Dangerous Substances

Synopsis:

Repealing the right of a person to not be compelled to submit to a test for alcohol, drugs, or controlled dangerous substances for specified driving offenses; making a refusal to submit to a test a misdemeanor; providing for criminal penalties and an assessment of points for a refusal to submit to a test; establishing penalties and driving restrictions for specified alcohol-related offenses; requiring a court and the Motor Vehicle Administration to order an alcohol driving restriction based on a specified alcohol concentration; etc.
