Parental Rights Act of 2002

Synopsis:

Altering the age at which a minor has the same capacity as an adult to consent to specified medical treatment; allowing an attending physician to permit minors over a specified age to consent to medical treatment if obtaining consent from a parent, guardian, or custodian of the minor would adversely affect the life or health of the minor; and allowing specified medical personnel to give information about a minor's medical treatment for abortion to the minor's parent, guardian, or custodian under specified circumstances.
