Synopsis:

Altering the composition of the Elevator Safety Review Board; prohibiting the chairman of the Board from representing organized labor or having a specified affiliation; repealing the authority of the Board to adopt bylaws and regulations to carry out the elevator safety law; requiring elevator apprentices to be enrolled in an apprenticeship program; altering the requirements for applicants for elevator mechanic licenses; etc.
