Synopsis:

Altering provisions relating to the regulation of nonprofit health service plans; specifying the purpose of the provisions of law regulating nonprofit health service plans; specifying that nonprofit health service plans are exempt from taxation as provided by law; clarifying the authority of the Attorney General to enforce the nonprofit mission of a nonprofit health service plan and preserve and protect assets; specifying the manner in which a nonprofit health service plan can satisfy statutory public service requirements; etc.
