Correctional Officers' Retirement System - Deferred Retirement Option Program

Synopsis:

Establishing a Deferred Retirement Option Program for State employees who are members of the Correctional Officers' Retirement System; altering the reasons for terminating membership in the Correctional Officers' Retirement System to include participation in the Deferred Retirement Option Program; providing a period for specified employees to elect to participate in the Deferred Retirement Option Program; requiring the State Retirement Agency to request a private letter ruling from the Internal Revenue Service; etc.
