Continuing the licensing and regulation of security systems
technicians in accordance with the provisions of the Maryland Program
Evaluation Act (Sunset Law) by extending to July 1, 2016 the
termination provisions relating to the statutory and regulatory
authority of the Secretary of the State Police to license and regulate
security systems technicians; and requiring that an evaluation of the
licensing program and the statutes and regulations that relate to the
program be performed on or before July 1, 2015.
