Synopsis:

Changing the provision of law concerning the storage of a loaded firearm to prohibit a person from storing or leaving the firearm in a location where the person knew or reasonably should have known that an unsupervised child could gain access to the firearm; and increasing the penalty from a fine of $1,000 to $5,000 or 5 years in prison or both.
