Health - Public Health Emergencies - Hospital Decontamination Facilities

Synopsis:

Requiring specified accredited hospitals in the State to create decontamination facilities meeting specified requirements; defining specified terms; requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to apply for federal funds for decontamination facilities; authorizing the Department to apply for and receive additional federal funds to indemnify hospitals against specified lawsuits; requiring the Department to adopt regulations to carry out the Act; and making the Act an emergency measure.
