Prescription Drug Manufacturer Rebates - State Funded Prescription Drug Programs

Synopsis:

Requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to establish a State prescription drug spending control program that may include preferred drug lists and a process for managing drug therapies; establishing a State Pharmaceutical and Therapeutics Committee within the Department; requiring the Department to make specified preferred drug list decisions based on specified criteria; creating the Maryland Medical Assistance Prescription Drugs Fund; requiring the Department to make a report; etc.
