Creation of a State Debt - Kent County Community Center Project

Synopsis:

Authorizing the creation of a State Debt not to exceed $750,000, the proceeds to be used as a grant to the County Commissioners of Kent County for the construction and capital equipping of a new centralized and competitive multi-generational community center to be located on Maryland Route 297 in Worton; providing for disbursement of the loan proceeds, subject to a requirement that the grantee provide and expend a matching fund; and providing generally for the issuance and sale of bonds evidencing the loan.
