Maryland Trauma and Emergency Medical Response System - Funding and Structure

Synopsis:

Establishing the Maryland Trauma Physician Services Fund; stating the purpose of the Fund; specifying the manner in which expenditures may be made from the Fund; specifying criteria and parameters for developing reimbursement methodology; requiring physicians or facilities seeking reimbursement from the Fund to apply in a specified manner; requiring applicants for specified drivers' licenses and licensees renewing specified drivers' licenses to pay to the Motor Vehicle Administration a surcharge in a specified amount; etc.
