Public Safety - 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone System - Enhanced Wireless 9-1-1 Services

Synopsis:

Requiring each county's 9-1-1 system to provide specified automated enhanced wireless 9-1-1 services; requiring the Emergency Number Systems Board to prepare a plan to upgrade each county's 9-1-1 system to include enhanced wireless 9-1-1 services by December 31, 2005; authorizing the 9-1-1 Trust Fund to be used to reimburse counties for the costs of upgrades to provide enhanced wireless 9-1-1 services; increasing the 9-1-1 fee; providing for the termination of specified provisions of the Act; etc.
