Cigarette Restitution Fund - Required Appropriations
Providing that appropriations from the Cigarette Restitution Fund made
for the purposes of the Maryland Medical Assistance Program may not be
counted as appropriations satisfying the requirement that 50% of
Cigarette Restitution Funds be appropriated for tobacco use prevention
and cessation, cancer prevention, education, screening, and treatment,
and various other tobacco and health related programs; applying the
Act to fiscal years after 2004; etc.
