Higher Education - Associate of Arts in Teaching Degree - Transfer to Baccalaureate Degree

Synopsis:

Requiring public senior higher education institutions to admit as many applicants that hold an associate of arts in teaching degree from an institution of postsecondary education in the State for a baccalaureate degree in teaching as the estimated total number of elementary and secondary teachers by discipline that will be needed in the public schools for the graduating year of the applicants; requiring the applicant to meet the same academic standards and the same total number of credits as a native student; etc.
