Montgomery County - Vehicle Laws - Speed Monitoring Systems - Radar Cameras MC 302-03

Synopsis:

Requiring the Montgomery County Department of Police to mail a citation to the owner of a motor vehicle that is recorded by a speed monitoring system in the county to be in violation of laws regarding the operation of a motor vehicle in excess of the speed limit; establishing a maximum fine of $100 for a violation of the Act; prohibiting the MVA from registering or transferring the registration of a motor vehicle if the person cited for violating the Act fails to pay the civil penalty, contest liability, or appear for trial; etc.
