Synopsis:

Expanding the jurisdiction of the juvenile court to include proceedings involving specified children alleged to have committed specified acts; requiring a hearing to waive jurisdiction of the juvenile court to be held within a specified time period; requiring a child to be represented by counsel at a specified hearing; requiring the court to grant specified continuances; repealing provisions of law authorizing a juvenile court exercising jurisdiction over a child to waive its jurisdiction under specified circumstances; etc.
