Health Insurance - Payment to Providers for Colorectal Screenings

Synopsis:

Requiring insurers, nonprofit health service plans, and health maintenance organizations to pay claims submitted by licensed providers for colorectal cancer screenings at a rate no less than 140% of the rate paid by the Medicare program; and providing that the Act applies to all health insurance policies, contracts, and health benefit plans issued on or after October 1, 2003.
