Health Insurance - Small Group Market - Coverage - Preexisting Conditions

Synopsis:

Allowing a carrier that offers a specified health benefit plan in the small group market to limit coverage under the plan for not more than 12 consecutive months for a preexisting condition of an enrollee during the 6-month period immediately preceding the effective date of coverage, subject to specified exceptions; clarifying the applicability, to specified late enrollees, of a prohibition on the exclusion of coverage for specified health care services; etc.
