Entitled:
Workers' Compensation - Heart Disease or Hypertension Presumption - Anne Arundel County Deputy Sheriffs

Synopsis:

Extending the presumption of compensability under the workers' compensation law to include Anne Arundel County deputy sheriffs who suffer from heart disease or hypertension resulting in partial or total disability or death; and requiring that, subject to a specified limitation, workers' compensation benefits received under the Act are in addition to specified retirement benefits.
