Insurance Premiums Tax - Health Maintenance Organizations - Funding for Outpatient Mental Health Treatment

Synopsis:

Requiring the Maryland Medical Assistance Program to reimburse specified providers of outpatient mental health treatment a specified amount for specified individuals; imposing the insurance premiums tax on health maintenance organizations; creating the Outpatient Mental Health Treatment Fund to consist of revenue received from the premiums tax imposed on health maintenance organizations; providing that revenue from the Fund be used to reimburse for specified outpatient mental health treatment; etc.
