Synopsis:

Increasing the sales and use tax from 5% to 6%; creating an Education Trust Fund; requiring the Comptroller to distribute 8.3% of the sales and use tax revenue to the Education Trust Fund and 8.3% of the sales and use tax revenues to the Transportation Trust Fund; authorizing the use of money from the Education Trust Fund for specified educational purposes; providing for the termination of the Act; etc.
